Q. What do I do if a family member or a person I know dies at home in Framingham?
A: If the death is unexpected and happens at home in Framingham, your first call should be to the Framingham police by either 911 or 508-872-1212. The Framingham police department is always open. The police, EMTs, and fire department personnel will be the first responders. After they arrive, and once the EMT’s pronouncement happens, the police officer will contact the medical examiner.
